Editorial Policy

Gabor Kohanyi is the personal operator, editor and reviewer responsible for the website’s published content.

Editorial responsibility

Gabor Kohanyi selects topics, develops the tools, reviews sources, edits pages and decides corrections. No external advertiser or linked provider controls technical conclusions.

Pages identify authorship and review dates where useful. Responsibility remains with the human operator even when software or AI assists the work.

Primary-source preference

Important authentication and password claims are checked against sources such as NIST, OWASP, CISA, FIDO Alliance, W3C specifications and official platform documentation. Secondary sources may provide context but do not replace an available primary source for a current technical requirement.

Citations support nearby claims. They do not imply that a source endorses the website or every statement on a page.

Platform and time-sensitive guidance

Password rules, passkey support, account menus and recovery methods change. Platform guides state the review date, link to official documentation and tell readers to treat the current account interface as the final validator. Material changes should trigger a review rather than silent assumption.

Historical news is not redirected to a general guide unless the dominant user intent is genuinely equivalent.

Tools, calculations and editorial guidance

Generated values come from documented browser logic. Entropy calculations use stated mathematical assumptions. Strength checks are estimates based on patterns, and crack-time results are scenario models. These calculated outputs are not presented as proof that a credential or account is safe.

Technical checks confirm expected behavior under defined conditions, but they cannot guarantee the future security of every browser, device or website.

AI assistance

AI may assist with research organization, drafting, editing and technical quality checks. AI output is not a source. Important claims are checked against authoritative material, and the human operator is responsible for everything published on the website.

The site does not fabricate qualifications, first-hand product use, results, quotations, partnerships, rankings or statistics.

Corrections and updates

Readers can report a specific error through the Contact page. Useful reports identify the page, quote the disputed claim, explain the problem and provide a primary source. Material errors should be corrected promptly. Minor grammar and clarity edits may not receive a public correction note.

A page can be revised, redirected, retained for historical value or removed when evidence and user intent justify the decision. Public URLs are not discarded merely for a cleaner architecture.

Publication standard

Each indexable page should answer a distinct need, contain original useful context, use accurate metadata and link to related material. The site does not publish large numbers of thin keyword variants. Legal and trust pages describe how the service actually works.

Claims remain proportionate to the available evidence. Technical checks are never presented as an independent audit. Contact the operator when a page appears inconsistent with the documented privacy architecture or source standard.
